ACC and Audi Braking guard: unavailable

If you have a car from the VAG group (Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda) and you have encountered the dreaded message that does not allow you to use the cruise control, or the adaptive lighting system does not work properly, or the Lane Assist does not work, you have the bad luck of having a car with a fault in the windshield camera.

Why does this fault occur?

The camera malfunction is caused by excessive heat, the camera is mounted above the rearview mirror and is attached to the windshield. This causes the windshield to reach very high temperatures in moments of great heat, so high that it affects the electronic board of the camera itself, to the point of causing irreversible failures.

Is there a solution?

Until recently, the only solution was to go to the official vehicle dealer and install a new camera, with the cost of the camera plus labor being around €1,500, which is completely unacceptable to the vast majority of owners.

Our engineering team has developed a solution that repairs the camera's electronic board by replacing some electronic components and repairing the parts damaged by excessive heat. The result is a completely new and functional electronic board.

Can I disassemble the camera myself?

In principle, all vehicles of the VAG group allow for very easy disassembly of the camera. We will only need the help of a flat screwdriver, which will be used to press some tabs and apply a bit of leverage.

Installing the camera once repaired is very simple and does not require any programming. The car will not need to be connected to any coding application, and the camera can be installed by hand without the need for any additional tools.
