The camera malfunction is caused by excessive heat. The camera is mounted above the rearview mirror and is attached to the windshield. This causes the windshield to reach very high temperatures in very hot weather, so high that it affects the camera's electronic board, leading to irreversible damage.

In principle, all vehicles of the VAG group allow the camera to be dismantled very easily. We only need the help of a flat screwdriver, which will be used to press some tabs and apply a bit of leverage.

The installation of the camera after repair is very simple and does not require any programming. The car will not need to be connected to any coding application, and the camera can be installed by hand without any additional tools.

To send the camera, you must request the repair through the link on the website, the green button is at the bottom of this page. Once the shipment is paid for, we will provide you with a pickup number from the transport agency, which will come to collect the package and deliver it to us.

Once we have repaired the camera, we will send it back to you in the same way. The same transport agency will deliver the repaired camera to you.

From Spain:

The repair time is currently 2 days, so you need to add the time taken by the transport agency. Considering that it takes one day for the camera to reach us and another day to return it to you, the estimated total time is 4 days, although in many cases this time is reduced to 3 days.

From Europe:

For cameras sent from other countries of the European Union, the approximate repair time is 7 days. The transport agency takes 2-3 days to deliver the camera to us, plus 2 days for repair and another 2-3 days for the camera to be returned to you.
